| My maiden name was Coone. My grandfather was born in Manilla, Ontario Canada. There is a cemetery there with many headstones bearing the name Coone and most passed in the 1890's. There is even a Coone Street in the town. Other than this I really have no more information. |

| Leuke website. De Coone die omgekomen is op de K17 (jouw opa dus) was de zwager van mijn opa. Schokkend verhaal overigens. Heb in mijn kindertijd je oma (Corrie) nog wel eens ontmoet als ze op bezoek was bij mijn grootouders in Middelburg. |

| I'm searching for the COONE family of WILLIAM COONE in the USA. He was born approx. 1916, and was a chef/cook. He seemed to always wear western style clothes & white western style hat & boots. He always drove a cadillac.He was married to my mother's sister, LENA OLETA RILEY, also b. 1916....in OKLAHOMA.
I don't know if she met Bill Coone in OKLAHOMA, ARIZONA...where her parents moved sometime before 1930, or in CALIFORNIA, which is where their son BILLY EDWIN was born in 1934.Aunt Oleta moved to LANE COUNTY, EUGENE, OREGON sometime after her son was born. She said that her & Bill her married for about 10yrs., but I have not been able to find any information regarding marriage, divorce or Bill....whether he as since passed away. My my Oleta passed away in Dec.1989. She was also married to EARL STAFFORD, but don't know when or where.
I do know that there were or are some COONE families in eastern Oregon. When my cousin BILLY EDWIN passed away in 1967, in eastern OREGON, due to a car accident, He lived in GOLDENDALE, WASHINGTON with a woman. I don't know if they were married or not, but they were suppose to have had a baby girl named after her father...BILLIE (SPELLING?).
I'm hoping this might sound familiar to someone.
